The Current State of Climate Change

The Earth is facing an unprecedented climate crisis. Global temperatures are rising, leading to melting ice, rising sea levels, and an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as storms, floods, and droughts. Data shows: Global average temperatures have risen by about 1 degree Celsius compared to the pre-industrial period, and are projected to continue rising without prompt mitigation measures. Causes of Climate Change

These gases trap heat in the atmosphere, causing global warming.

Other contributing factors: Deforestation, livestock farming, and the use of chemical fertilizers also contribute to the increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
